Anywhere you are
This works over video better than people expect.
A large part of my practice is online. Clients who moved away years ago are still with me, and people who found me from other states have never sat in my room.
Why it translates well
The methods I use are done at a distance in the room anyway. You are not being touched and you are not being handed anything. What matters is that I can see your face and your eyes clearly, and a laptop does that at least as well as two armchairs.
What you need
A device with a camera you can set at eye level, a stable connection and a private room where you will not be interrupted for ninety minutes. Headphones help. A door that closes matters more than any of the technology.
The one advantage nobody mentions
You are already home. After a session that has moved something, not having to drive anywhere is worth more than people anticipate. Several clients who could easily come in person choose not to, for exactly that reason.
